广州起义烈士陵园是为纪念1927年12月11日共产党领导的广州起义牺牲的烈士而修建起来的。
　　陵园坐落于中山二路东较场的北面，占地18万平方米，由陵和园两大部分组成，是一个自然式和规则式结合的园林，其中西面陵墓部分是几何规则式，东面园林部分则是自然式风格。陵园的主体主要有正门、广场、陵墓大道、广州起义纪念碑和圆形的陵墓等，构成陵墓部分。东面园林部分辟有人工湖，建有中朝、中苏人民血谊亭，血祭轩辕亭镌刻有董必武、朱德、叶剑英等党和国家领导人的亲笔题咏。陵园西南部还建有广东革命历史博物馆。
　　陵园正门朝着中山三路的英雄广场和广东省体育场。大门墙上镌刻着周恩来同志为该园题写的园名“广州起义烈士陵园”。
　　Located on Zhongshan Er Road, Guangzhou, and completed in 1954, the mausoleum covers an area of 18 hectares and embraces such spots as a monument.
The memorial park was being build to commemorate the martyr in Guangzhou insurgence leaded by Chinese Communist on Dec. 11, 1927. Tombs of the martyrs of the Guangzhou Commune, the tomb of Marshall Ye Jianying, China-DPRK Pavilion and China-USSR Pavilion. The main scenic spots are the Memorial Stele of Guangzhou insurgence, the Friendship Kiosk of Chinese and Korean People, the Friendship Kiosk of Chinese and Soviet Russia People. In Recent years, an amusement park, a body-building ground, a skating rink, and a flower and plant hall were added, making the mausoleum a place combining the functions of commemoration, tourism and education into one.
