深圳音乐厅座落在深圳市福田中心区风光秀美的莲花山脚下，占地面积26345平方米，建筑面积41423平方米，耗资7．76亿元人民币。由国际著名的日本设计师矶崎新先生主持设计，建筑造型独特、构思精巧，极富现代感，被国际评委誉为新世纪世界音乐厅建筑精品之作，它的落成标志着可接待国内外各类音乐演出，成为深圳地区弘扬高雅艺术，发展音乐事业，促进文化交流的国际一流音乐殿堂。
　　As one of Shenzhen’s main venues for large-scale arts events, Shenzhen Concert Hall is a modern cultural facility located in the heart of the city centre. Designed by the well-known Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, the Concert Hall covers an area of 26,345 square metres and a total construction area of 41,423 square metres. The Hall’s modern, delicate and unique design has been praised by architects from around the world and lauded as an example of outstanding 21st century concert hall architecture. The most striking feature of the Hall’s design is the concept of using red, yellow, blue, white and black to symbolize the five Chinese elements of metal, wood, water, fire and soil.
Shenzhen Concert Hall has two performing venues: the Symphony Hall and the Theatre Studio. The Symphony Hall has 1,576 seats and a Pipe Organ with 86 stops and 6,432 pipes. The Theatre Studio’s capacity can be adjusted to seat between 400 to 580 guests. The Concert Hall also features a Music Square, Musician’s Saloon, Music Training Centre, Recording Studio, restaurant and other facilities.
