金牛岭公园占地105公顷，内有金牛湖，综合性动物园、白鸽园、蝴蝶、竹园、槟榔园、菠萝蜜园、热带亚热带果园、花卉园、烈士陵园、健身广场，占地面积绿化率达96%，属海南省会海口市具有九园一湖一场的大型园林景。一年四季，园里树木苍翠，花果飘香，蜂飞蝶舞，鸟歌猿啼，鸽群翔空景色秀丽而独竺，是览景猎趣的好去处，享誉"海口名胜"。公园入口就在海秀大道中段南侧路旁，一条两旁栽满花木的笔直的百米大道直通园门。进入门便是金牛瀑布景区。进门抬头仰望，便见一头高大威壮的浑身金光闪耀的巨它四蹄实实稳稳地踏在高高的石头顶上，昂首朝东眺望。一道清澈的水流漫过石山直泻下来，给陡峭的石山挂起一幅又大又长的银光闪闪的水帘，这就是"金牛瀑布"。造景取材于一个美丽的传说。相传很久以前，处于海口旧城近郊的这片山地，灌木杂草丛生，加之年年干旱，居民生活十分艰苦。有一年大旱，天上的一头神牛经过这儿，看到满山草木和园园庄稼枯焦欲焚，老百姓面黄肌瘦，于是生起恻隐之念，在夜间，四蹄用力踏地，昂道向东呼风唤雨，这山便年年林木苍翠，花香果累，庄稼丰收。为了对神牛表示感谢，老百姓便把这山命名"金牛岭"。金牛瀑布下是一块由花圃、绿树、藤棚、藤墙环抱的开阔地，是游人在金牛瀑布下理想的留影地。"金牛瀑布"是金牛岭公园的象征物，它象征海口人民勇敢开拓进取，奋发向上，振兴海口的精神风貌。

Flowers and plants garden, the areca garden, the bamboo plantation, the green square, the pigeon garden, the butterfly garden, the zoo and so on were built here. The waterfall scenic area makes the scenery unique. The park has become an amusement world and is good both for the young and old with beautiful spring atmosphere.
Maanshan Volcano is located near the border of Shishan town, west of Qiongshan city, Haikou. It gains its fame with its saddle form look. It is the biggest mouth of the eruption volcanic groups from 27,000 years to 1 million years ago. It is also one of the best preserved extinct volcanoes in the world .North peak elevation is 222.2 meters, whereas the south peak elevation is 186.75 meters. More than 30 craters or volcano wimble all around were distributed here. The criss-crossed underground limestone cave groups are the natural underground volcano grotto museum. There are 72 volcanoes grottos underground, the fairy cave and sleeping dragon cave hole. The hole is 7 meters high, 3 kilometers wide and surrounded by lava and caves of different types.
